Bhubaneswar: The Annual Business Meet 2025 was successfully organised under the joint patronage of Visaka Industries and Manonanda Solar at a private hotel in Bhubaneswar.
The meet focused on promoting solar energy adoption under the Prime Minister’s Surya Ghar: Free Electricity Scheme, an innovative initiative aimed at energy conservation as well as financial savings for consumers.
The scheme seeks to provide relief from high electricity bills while encouraging optimal use of renewable energy. By installing rooftop solar panels, consumers can not only reduce their monthly power expenses but also contribute towards environmental protection through clean and sustainable energy generation.
To translate this vision into reality, Manonanda Solar, in collaboration with TPCODL and following its guidelines, has been implementing solar projects across various parts of the state for over the past six months. The company has been working extensively at the grassroots level to make the scheme accessible to households across Odisha.
The event was graced by Praveen Behera, Regional Marketing Head, ATUM Visaka, as the Chief Guest. Shubhendu Basu, Sales Head, ATUM Visaka, and Sharada Prasad Sahu attended as Guests of Honour.

He elaborated on the Prime Minister’s Free Electricity Scheme, under which households can save electricity bills of up to 300 units per month. Both Central and State governments are providing subsidies for installing solar panels, thereby encouraging pollution-free power generation and environmental conservation.
Manonanda Solar, working jointly with TPCODL, is actively motivating people across different regions of the state to install solar panels and utilise solar energy for free electricity while responsibly conserving natural resources.
