Bhubaneswar – Anmol, the daughter of renowned Odia filmmaker Ashok Pati, is all set to make her acting debut with the upcoming family drama AAFAA.

Stepping into the world of Ollywood, Anmol brings with her a fresh presence and a legacy of cinematic storytelling. Her entry into films has already generated buzz, as audiences look forward to seeing how the young talent carries forward her father’s artistic lineage on the silver screen.

After the success of their previous film My Sweet House Wife, producers and lead actors Naina Dash and Pritiraj Satpathy are all set to return with their next venture – AAFAA, a poignant family drama that promises to strike an emotional chord with audiences across Odisha.

Directed by Rajendra Mohanta and produced under the Mystic Claw Clapss banner, AAFAA delves into the delicate dynamics of a family caught in the whirlwind of unexpected trauma. At its heart, the story revolves around four central characters – a mother, daughter, father, and grandfather – as they grapple with life’s sudden challenges and discover the deeper meanings of love, honor, and resilience.

Marking her debut in the Odia film industry is Anmol, daughter of noted director Ashok Pati, who joins an ensemble cast that includes Pritiraj Satpathy and Naina Dash, Kuna Tripathy, Hara Rath, Jeevan Panda, Rabi Mishra and others. The film promises a compelling narrative that explores themes rarely touched upon in mainstream Odia cinema.

“AAFAA is not just a movie; it’s a tribute to the healing power of family,” said actress and producer Naina Dash during the recent music launch of the film. “We’ve all experienced that moment from childhood when a parent would gently press a warm cloth against our eyes and whisper ‘Aafaa’ – a simple, loving act that made everything feel better. This film is about that feeling – the comfort, care, and strength families give us in our hardest moments.”

The film also poses thought-provoking questions about human relationships and societal values: Can hardship bring us closer to our roots? Does karma shape our outlook on life? And can people of any age be role models in society?

Backed by a talented cast and crew, AAFAA aims to deliver a deeply emotional cinematic experience that encourages viewers to reflect on their own lives and relationships.

AAFAA is scheduled for release soon in cinema halls across the state, and expectations are high for it to resonate widely with audiences.
