Album Queen Lipi Mohapatra Makes a Comeback in Albums with ‘Aaina’

Bhubaneswar:pPopular Odia actress Lipi Mohapatra, fondly known as the Album Queen of Odisha for her string of superhit musical albums, is making a grand comeback to the music scene with her latest project ‘Aaina’.

The song, presented by Samar Audio Vision, marks Lipi’s return after a long gap and has already created buzz among fans following the release of its promo on YouTube.

‘Aaina’ (Odia Music Video) features vocals by Ira Mohanty, with lyrics penned by Samarendra Mahapatra and music composed by Samar. The music arrangement is by Goutam Ganguly, while Jayprakash Mohanty has directed the video, captured by cinematographer Ashok Mohanty. The video stars Lipi alongside other artistes and is produced by Samarendranath Mahapatra.

Lipi, who was recently seen in the superhit Odia film ‘Challenge’, where she played the elder sister of actor Ardhendu, continues to be a familiar face on television as the face of Zee Sarthak’s popular show ‘Didi No. 1’.

The actress ruled the Odia music industry in the 2000s with several blockbuster albums like ‘To Hrudaya Kichi Kahila’, ‘Megha Re Megha’, ‘Tamaku Dekhila Pare’ and many more — earning her the title of Album Queen.

With ‘Aaina’, Lipi Mohapatra is all set to recreate the golden magic of the Odia album era once again.
