Ajay’s Bholaa & Nani’s Dasara Witness BO Slowdown

Bollywood action star Ajay Devgn’s much anticipated action trhiller Bholaa had hit the theatres on March 30 amid much hype.

The film however clashed at the theatres with another hitmaker Nani’s Dasara which is a raw drama in the hinterlands of Singareni coalmines. The movie also had Keerthy Suresh and Shine Tom Chacko in the prominent roles.

While Dasara took a better opening, Bholaa opened to below-than-expected numbers and has remained steady on the lower side. Nani’s pan-India film ran out of steam and saw a considerable drop after a few days.

The Ajay Devgn directorial, saw a dip on its second Monday, ie day 12. According to early estimates, Bholaa raked in Rs 2 crore, taking its overall total to Rs 74 crore.

On day 12, Nani and Keerthy Suresh headlined Dasara is estimated to have earned Rs 1 crore, thus its total collection has now moved up to Rs 76 crore.

Both Bholaa and Dasara are now expected to remain low over the weekdays.
