Agent: After a disappointing box office run, Akhil Akkineni’s action-packed thriller to stream on OTT

The much-awaited Telugu film, “Agent,” starring Akhil Akkineni and Sakshi Vaidya in the lead roles, is all set to release on an OTT platform on May 19, 2023. The movie was slated for a theatrical release on April 28, but due to its box office failure, the makers have decided to release it on an OTT platform as soon as possible.

The movie has been directed by the talented filmmaker, Surender Reddy, who is known for his blockbuster films like “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy,” “Kick,” and “Race Gurram.” The cinematography of the movie has been handled by Rasool Ellore, and Naveen Nooli has done the editing work. The music of the movie has been composed by the popular composer, Hiphop Tamizha.

Akhil portrays Ramakrishna, known for his impeccable skills and unflinching dedication towards his job. He is tasked with a highly sensitive mission to uncover the truth about a dangerous terrorist organization that poses a threat to national security. As he embarks on his mission, he realizes that the terrorist organization is more dangerous and complex than he had initially thought. With the help of his team and his unmatched wit and intelligence, Agent navigates through a web of lies and deceit to uncover the truth.

Sakshi Vaidya makes her acting debut with this film, and she has impressed the audience with her performance. The movie also features Malayalam superstar Mammootty in a crucial role, which has added to the excitement of the audience.
