Actress Ankita Dash Turns Producer with New Odia Film Raktakshara

Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia actress Ankita Dash is set to take a major step in her cinematic journey by making her debut as a film producer with the upcoming Odia film Raktakshara.

Alongside producing the project, Ankita will also play the female lead, marking a significant milestone in her career.
Known for her performances in films such as Mitha Mitha, Mana Khali Tate Chahen, Tume Mo Sakha, Tume Mo Sindura, Vaastav, and Khoka Bhai Tama Pain, Ankita has established herself as a familiar face in the Odia film industry.

With Raktakshara, she now ventures into production while continuing her acting career.

The film also features Abhijit Das, Bobby Mishra, Pradyumna Lenka, Prabhati Sahoo, Arpan Mishra and Sushant in prominent roles.

Speaking about the project, Ankita said she is portraying a character that reflects the many shades and struggles of a young woman. “It is a journey through strength, vulnerability and transformation. The role is emotionally intense and very close to my heart,” she said.

She also confirmed that the shooting of the film has already been completed, while the release date will be announced soon.
Raktakshara is written and directed by the acclaimed filmmaker duo Lubun-Tubun, who have shared a long creative association with Ankita through several films and music albums.

The project marks yet another collaboration between them, with Ankita now joining hands as both producer and lead actress.
Presented by AD Films in association with LT Production, the film boasts an experienced technical team.

The story, screenplay and direction are by Lubun-Tubun, while the screenplay has been co-written with Sanjay Mahakul, who has also penned the dialogues. Music has been composed by Baidyanath Dash, cinematography is by Kanhunanda Subham, editing by Pintu Nayak, while choreography has also been supervised by the director duo.

With Raktakshara, Ankita Dash broadens her role in the Odia film industry, adding film production to her achievements and opening a new chapter in her career.
