Aarindam’s RAM granted UA certificate by CBFC
Bhubaneswar: Aarindam Roy’s upcoming new movie RAM granted UA certificate by Central Board of Film Certification Monday.
Sharing the news actor and producer Aarindam Roy shared the image of the certificate saying” Thank you Lord Jagannath for being so kind and blessing us all the way”
The movie is all set to release this Dussehra. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), commonly known as the Censor Board, is an important body that handles film certification in India. Films are certified into four categories in India. They are: U – unrestricted. UA – unrestricted but with a parental discretion advisory for children under 12 years. A – adult.
Earlier, the audio of much awaited Aarindam Roy’s action movie RAM released at a special function at Maharaja Cinema Hall on Sunday.
The launch event saw presence of star cast of the movie including Aarindam Roy, Rupsha Mukhopadhyay, director Ashok Pati, Music director Asad Nizam and Lincoln, singers Humane Sagar, Kuldeep Patnaik, Aseema Panda, Satyajeet Pradhan and Mohini Misra, Media planner and Creative Head Pranay Jethi and others.
The makers recently launched two songs of the movie Pungi and Mashallah which created quite sensation.
The Pungi song showcased two stars of the industry Anubhav and Aarindam together, while Mashallah showcased chemistry of Aarindam and Rupsha.
The makers had earlier released the teaser of the movie which showcased Aarindam Roy in full on action mode. The actor can be seen doing cool stunts and fight scenes in the two minute teaser. In the movie Rahul Dev is playing the main villain role while actress Rupsha Mukhopadhyay is playing female lead role opposite Aarindam .
The movie is produced under the banner of Ratna Films. The movie is directed by Ashok Pati and produced by Arindam. The movie will be released in Odia and Bengali on Dussehra.
Media planner and Creative Head Pranay Jethi said that RAM is a big budgeted multi lingual movie and will show actors such as big names such as Aarindam Roy and Rahul Dev in one movie together which already makes it exciting thing to watch, this apart the movie will also showcase Aarindam and Anubhav Mohanty together in the song Pungi which is something not to be missed he added
