‘Aaji Ra Rebati’ Set for April 11 release

Bhubaneswar: The new Odia movie *Aaji Ra Rebati*, starring Sheetal Patra in the titular role, is set to be released on April 11, 2025.

The movie is produced by RR Events and Cine Production and will be distributed in collaboration with Prakash Films. This marks an exciting partnership for bringing the film to cinemas across Odisha.

The movie features Sheetal Patra as Rebati, alongside Kolkata’s Bonny Sengupta in a lead male role. Directed by Subhranshu Das and produced by Ramesh Barik, *Aaji Ra Rebati* is a story about Rebati, a woman who faces tremendous challenges but ultimately succeeds in achieving her goals. The film is set in the early 1990s, and the shooting for the movie was completed last year.

The screenplay is written by Shyama Prasad Mishra, while the music is composed by Prem Anand. The cast also includes Usasi Mishra, Parijat Chakraborty, Puspa Panda, and Prithviraj Nayak in supporting roles.

The film’s first look featuring Sheetal Patra as Rebati was revealed during the Bahuda Yatra, and was earlier scheduled to release in Dusshera last year.
