Bhubaneswar: The makers of New Odia Horror movie Bou Buttu Bhuta are clearly taking great care in managing how their film is presented to the audience, and their request to keep on-set recordings private reflects a common concern among filmmakers.

By asking for confidentiality, they aim to preserve the film’s full impact, ensuring that viewers experience it as intended on the big screen without premature spoilers or leaks that might spoil key moments or the overall atmosphere of the horror film.

In a message on social media, the makers Babushaan Films said, “We’ve noticed some behind-the-scenes footage from our set being shared on social media. While we appreciate the excitement, we kindly remind everyone that on-set recordings and leaks can compromise the authenticity and impact of our film.”

“Every detail of this project is crafted with care, and we want the audience to experience it the way it’s meant to be—on the big screen! We request all team members to respect confidentiality and avoid sharing any unauthorized content.”

“Let’s work together to keep the magic intact! Thank you for your support and professionalism. #RespectTheProcess #FilmConfidentiality #NoSpoilers”

The excitement around this movie, given its talented cast including Babushaan, Archita, and Aparajita Mohanty, along with the vision of director Jagdish Mishra and producer Trupti Satpathy, shows the anticipation building up. The fact that the shooting resumed after the passing of Babushaan’s father adds an emotional layer to the film, making it even more special for the team and the fans.

The June 12, 2025 release date seems to be eagerly awaited, especially after the teaser and first showcase were released, which promise a spine-chilling experience.

With Babushaan’s recent success and accolades, including his Best Actor win for Daman, expectations are high for this project. It will be interesting to see how this film, combining the talents of the stars and the director, performs both at the box office and with audiences.
