‘Sanatani’ released in cinema halls across the state

Bhubaneswar: Vidhisha Kraft production’s New Odia Movie ‘Sanatani: Karma Hi Dharma’ starring Sambeet Acharya and Arlin Ankita released at more than 30 cinema halls across the state Friday. The movie was earlier titled Hey Ram.

The film which was released despite opposition from the Christian community is directed by Basudeb Barad and and produced by Bijay Kumar Kandoi. This will be the 15th movie of the Vidusha Kraft.

“There was no protest from any quarters and the film has received good response from people in different places of Odisha,” Bijay Kandoi, the producer of the film said.

The lead actor, Sambit Acharya, said all people should watch the film and then give their opinion.

The film was released after Orissa High Court Wednesday did not grant a stay order on the release of the film.

The film deals with some religious issue and will make people know about religion and to respect all religion.

The Film stars Sambeet Acharya, Jagannath Seth, Arlin Ankita, Papi Santuka in important roles. The movie is Directed by Basudeb Barad and and produced by Bijay Kumar Kandoi. This will be the 15th movie of the Vidusha Kraft.

Abijit Majumdar is the music director of the movie. Manas Ranjan Samal and Dipti Patnaik are the dialogue writers and Dhrubananda panda is DOP.
