Representing the rich and vibrant folk traditions of Odisha on a national platform has been an incredible honor, and I have carried the pride of our culture with me every step of the way.
I know that many of you had high hopes and dreams of seeing the trophy come home to Odisha. I deeply regret that I couldn’t bring that honor to our state, and for that, I am truly sorry. I understand the disappointment that comes with not winning the title, and it pains me to have fallen short of those expectations. However, winning or losing the title was not within my control, I gave my heart and soul to every performance. My true goal was to bring the beauty and depth of Odia folk music to the forefront, to ensure that our rich cultural heritage reaches the ears of every corner of our country, and to inspire younger generations to connect with their roots.
In this mission, I believe we have succeeded together. The joy of seeing our music touch the hearts of so many, the pride of hearing our folk songs resonate across India—these are the real victories. Our traditions have been celebrated, our culture has been showcased, and for that, I am immensely proud.
I am also deeply thankful to the creators of *Bharat Ka Amrit Kalash* for providing me with this opportunity. My heartfelt gratitude goes to Prasar Bharati, Doordarshan, Mr. Anurag Thakur, and the esteemed Padma Shri Kailash Kher for their vision in bringing such a wonderful platform to life. This show was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of India’s diverse cultural tapestry, and I am honored to have been a part of it.
Furthermore, I promise to work tirelessly on Odia folk music in the near future, with the aim of spreading its beauty and significance not only across India but also around the world. Our music deserves to be heard globally, and I am committed to making that a reality.
Thank you, Odisha, for believing in me, for standing by me, and for allowing me to be your voice on such a grand stage. Together, we have made a mark, and I am proud to be a representative of our beautiful state.
