New look of Sita released, set to hit screens on July 5

Bhubaneswar: Aswin Tripathy directed movie Sita starring Debjani Deghuria is all set to hit screens on July 5.

Ahead of its release the makers released the new poster of the movie including stars and supporting cast of the movie that include Debjani Deghuria as Sita, Samaresh Routray as CM, Sakti Baral as CM L’s Private Secretary, Deepali Debasmita as Reporter and others.

Earlier, makers had release the trailer and title track of the movie.

The movie which previously titled Udandi Sita starring Debjani Deghuria in titular role will be released in the cinema halls on July 5.

Aswin Tripathy Films in association with Idol Odisha are presenting the Odia flick. The movie is starring Debjani Deghuria in a lead role. The movie narrates a story of a daughter of an agricultural family who is completely reliant on her father, the family’s lone breadwinner.

The movie tells the story of a farmer life and struggle. In the movie father experiences a loss as a result of climate change, leading to a mental breakdown. The daughter, who is pursuing a career in agriculture, protests for farmer’s rights, prompting the Chief Minister to make an audacious offer to act as CM for three days.

The movie is directed by Aswin Tripathy who also wrote the screenplay and also the producer. The dialogues of the film were written by Rajani Ranjan while the music direction is given by Japani Bhai.

Apart from the lead role by Debjani, the other important roles in the movie played by Samaresh Routray, Late Pintu Nanda, Sushant Das Mohapatra and Shakti Baral.
