Shree Motion Pictures announces new Odia film Chalchitra

Bhubaneswar: Odia film production house Shree Motion Pictures has announced its new movie Chalchitra, marking its second venture in association with AAO NXT.

The upcoming film will be directed by Hemant Patro, while Sreelekha Panda will produce the project. The announcement marks another step by Shree Motion Pictures towards creating new content for Odia audiences, with Chalchitra set to be its latest theatrical venture.

While details about the film’s storyline, cast, music and release date are yet to be revealed, the makers have announced the project with the title Chalchitra, creating curiosity among Odia moviegoers.

The production house had earlier ventured into Odia cinema with Racket, a suspense thriller that was released across Odisha. The film featured Namata Thapa, Dushmant Panda, Prithviraj Nayak, Arlin Ankita, Hemant Patra and child actor Situl, with Ankita Dash appearing in the song Jabani Jabani. Music for Racket was composed by Prem Anand.

With Chalchitra, Shree Motion Pictures is now gearing up for its second production in association with AAO NXT. Further details about the film are expected to be announced by the makers in the coming days.
