Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia entertainment channel Zee Sarthak is set to bring a new family drama, Mangalmayee Tu Maa Mangala, to television audiences on September 20 at 6:30 pm.

Based on faith, devotion, unconditional love and the divine glory of Maa Mangala, the film is expected to offer viewers an emotional and family-oriented story.

The story revolves around Gauri, a simple, kind-hearted orphan who marries Abinash. However, Abinash is in love with another woman and remains unhappy about his marriage. After taking Gauri to the city, he refuses to acknowledge her as his wife and instead introduces her to others as a domestic help.

A staunch devotee of Maa Mangala, Gauri continues to endure humiliation and hardship with patience and faith. Despite her circumstances, she remains committed to Abinash and fulfils her responsibilities, placing her trust in the goddess.

The story takes an intriguing turn with the arrival of Lali, a mysterious and intelligent young girl. Who is Lali and why does she enter Gauri and Abinash’s lives? Will Abinash eventually understand Gauri’s genuine love and sacrifice and accept her as his wife? The answers unfold as the story progresses.

The film features several popular Ollywood artistes in key roles. Jyotiprakash Panda plays Abinash, Manasi Pal portrays Gauri, Ishani Panda appears as Lali, while Pihu Mahapatra plays the character of Mugdha.
