‘Medinipura Ra Meneka’ Set to Rule Odisha’s Festive Season

Bhubaneswar: With Odisha gearing up for the festive season, filmmaker Babu Babu is set to entertain audiences with a new big-budget music video, Medinipura Ra Meneka. The music video marks the first on-screen pairing of actors P
iyush Tripathy and Paayaliah.
Scheduled for release around Ganesh Puja, Medinipura Ra Meneka is expected to be one of the major musical attractions of the festive season. Director Babu Babu expressed confidence that the song would continue to entertain audiences throughout the celebrations.
Apart from Piyush Tripathy and Payal, film producer and actor Sridhar Martha will be seen in a special role. Sipu, Somia and Manas are also part of the cast.
The music video has been produced by Prashant Kumar Behera. The song has been sung by Devesh Pati and Asima Panda, with music composed by Biraja Prasad. The lyrics have been penned by Dr Deepak Jena.
Prem has worked as the associate director, while Biju is the Director of Photography.
The choreography has been handled by Suryan Rath, with editing by KD Sipun. Digital Dreams has handled the DI work.
With Ganesh Puja, Dussehra, Gajalakshmi Puja and Kali Puja lined up in the coming months, the makers believe the energetic number will find a strong connect with audiences at melody programmes and Jatra stages across Odisha.
The makers said Medinipura Ra Meneka has been designed as a complete festive entertainer and expressed hope that its music and dance will make it a popular choice during the upcoming celebration season.
