‘Ei Rakhi Rahila Sakshi Amara’ Music Video Released, Actress Smrutirekha Ties Rakhi to Specially-Abled Children

Bhubaneswar: Marking the occasion of Raksha Purnima, director Babu Babu has gifted Odia audiences a new music video titled ‘Ei Rakhi Rahila Sakshi Amara’, celebrating the sacred bond between brothers and sisters.

The music video was released at the Odisha Association of the Blind auditorium in Bhubaneswar. The release event was attended by Odisha Association of the Blind secretary Sarat Kumar Das, producer Balaram Sethi, Media Planner Creative Head Pranaya Jethi, lead actress Smrutirekha, actor Sushil and director Babu Babu.

A special moment at the event saw lead actress Smrutirekha tying rakhi to specially-abled children, highlighting the message of love, care, protection and lifelong support associated with Raksha Bandhan.
The music video, presented by Shankar Creation and produced by Balaram Sethi, revolves around the emotional and sacred relationship between a brother and sister.

Director Babu Babu, who is known for creating music videos around different festivals, has attempted to blend the festive spirit with a meaningful social message through the latest presentation.

The song has been penned by Tapu Nayak, with music composed by Santosh Kumar. Singers Kumar Bapi and Asima Panda have lent their voices to the track. Television actress Smrutirekha plays the female lead, while Sushil portrays the male lead. Sunayana, Megha and Brijesh are also part of the cast.

Biju has handled the cinematography, while KD Sipun is the editor.
With its focus on sibling love and a message of social inclusion, the music video aims to underline the values of compassion, protection and togetherness associated with Raksha Bandhan.
