‘Dandakali’ Audio and Teaser Released; Odia Film to Hit Screens on Ganesh Puja

Bhubaneswar: The audio and teaser of the much-awaited Odia film ‘Dandakali’, produced under the Rajashree Cinecraft banner, were recently unveiled at a ceremony held at Hotel Prachi.

Film personalities and producers including Tutu Nayak, Ramesh Barik and Atish Rout attended the event and felicitated the artistes and technicians associated with the film.
Directed by noted filmmaker Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo, ‘Dandakali’ is based on the glory and legends associated with Maa Dandakali.

The story has been written by Abhishikta Mishra, while Dilip Chowdhury has penned the screenplay and dialogues.
Deepak Kumar is the cinematographer. The film features playback vocals by Antara Chakraborty, Pragya Hota, Kuldeep and Sabishes. The music has been composed by Prem Anand, with lyrics penned by Bapu Goswami and Dr Nirmal Nayak.
The film is produced by Rajashree Ghosh, with Sukanta Kumar Sahu as the executive producer. The music has been released under the Amar Music banner.

The cast includes Mahasweta Ray, Siddhant Mahapatra, Suryamayi Mohapatra, Chitrasen Ghosh, Trupti Mirambika, Choudhury Jayaprakash Das, Ushasi Mishra, KK, Elina Padhi, Udit Guru, Nihar Samal and Amar Mahapatra, among others.

Child artistes Hansraj and Dhun are also part of the project.

The audio and teaser launch ceremony was attended by director Sudhanshu Mohan Sahu, producer Rajashree Ghosh, Choudhury Jayaprakash Das, Dilip Chowdhury, Abhishikta Mishra, Suryamayi Mohapatra, Chitrasen Ghosh, Trupti Mirambika, KK, Elina Padhi, Udit Guru, Gurudev Maharathi, Amar Mahapatra, Pritiranjan Mahapatra, Rajani, Bapu Goswami, Antara Chakraborty, Pragya Hota and Sabishes.

‘Dandakali’ is scheduled to release in theatres during this year’s Ganesh Puja. Haraprasad Mahapatra is handling the film’s publicity and promotional activities.
