‘Mantra Muugdha’ Gets U/A Certificate Ahead of May 1 Release

Bhubaneswar: Upcoming Odia horror-comedy film Mantra Muugdha has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification ahead of its statewide theatrical release on May 1.

Sharing the update, the makers said nearly three hours of mystery, madness and magic now await audiences as the film is officially ready for the big screen. With the U/A certification, the movie is cleared for family viewing with parental guidance where required.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Anupam Pattnaik and produced under the banner of Amiya Pattnaik Productions, the film has already generated strong buzz ahead of release.

Its trailer recently crossed one million views on YouTube, reflecting growing excitement among moviegoers. The promotional campaign also received a boost with the launch of the lively song Daba Bhitare Pas, sung by Papu Pom Pom.

The film revolves around a group of friends who visit a mysterious palace and soon begin facing strange and terrifying supernatural incidents. The makers say the movie blends suspense, comedy, music and horror elements into a complete family entertainer.

With censor clearance now secured, anticipation is expected to rise further as Mantra Muugdha heads for its May 1 release across Odisha.
