Bhubaneswar: Popular Indian television actress Urfi Javed arrived in Bhubaneswar on Monday to take part in the special Swapna Pati Herbal Holi 2026, one of the city’s biggest eco-friendly Holi celebrations.
She arrived at Bhubaneswar International Airport, where she was warmly welcomed by the organisers, fans who received her with greetings ahead of the grand event to be held at Hotel Sandys Tower.
The actress will be the star attraction of the event organised by Swapna Pati Foundation at Hotel Sandys Tower.
The grand celebration marks the 15th edition of Herbal Holi, an initiative aimed at promoting safe and natural ways of celebrating the festival of colours. As in previous years, the foundation has made elaborate arrangements to organise the event in collaboration with Lavinswood International Private Limited, continuing its mission to spread awareness about chemical-free Holi celebrations.
The event held on March 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Hotel Sandys Tower, Bhubaneswar. Participants will celebrate Holi using herbal colours made from natural ingredients such as turmeric, sandalwood, multani mitti, neem and beetroot to ensure a safe and eco-friendly festival.
Holi symbolises joy, devotion and unity, and the organisers said the Herbal Holi initiative was started in 2011 with the message “Protect your skin from chemical colours.” Since then, the foundation has been encouraging people to avoid synthetic colours that may cause skin allergies, eye irritation and environmental damage.
Apart from Urfi Javed, the celebration will also feature live performances by singers Shehzad Ali and Shabab Sabri, along with actor Ajaz Khan. Popular Ollywood artists Subhasish Sharma (Montu), Suryamayee Mahapatra, Priyanka and Rishi Pattnaik will also perform, while DJ Ayush will entertain the audience with music.
Around 2,000 participants, along with several well-known industrialists and invited guests, are expected to attend the event.
Organisers said Herbal Holi 2026 is not just a festival but a movement promoting health, culture and an eco-friendly environment.
