Bhoomika Dash Overwhelmed at Chakranta Music and Trailer Launch

Bhubaneswar: Actress Bhoomika Dash expressed her gratitude at the launch of her upcoming Odia film Chakranta, saying, “Overwhelmed with love, blessings, and beautiful energy at the music and trailer launch of our new movie ‘CHAKRANTA’.

Bhoomika plays the lead role in Chakranta alongside Subhasish Sharma, portraying a young woman who gets trapped in a complicated mess, navigating temptations, bad company, and unexpected challenges. The story explores the strain on relationships, the sacrifices parents make, and delivers a strong social message about choices and consequences.

The much-anticipated trailer of Chakranta was released on Sunday on the Babu Bhai Productions YouTube channel, giving audiences a first glimpse of the film’s gripping narrative.

Directed by Pinu Nayak and produced by Saurabh Padhi, Chakranta is slated for a January 2026 theatrical release. The film also marks Bhoomika Dash’s first on-screen pairing with Subhasish Sharma, promising fresh chemistry that adds depth to the layered storyline.

The ensemble cast features Harihar Mahapatra, Chaudhury Jayprakash Das, Pradyumna Lenka, Dharitri Khandual, Surabhi, Soumya Satapathy, Shubham Padhi, Suman Mahanty, Kusum Tripathy, Pramod Raut, Tushar, Umakant, Niranjan Nirua, Punyatoya Mishra, and Krishnarani Dash, with a special guest appearance by Ashrumochan Mahanty.

Apart from Chakranta, Bhoomika Dash will also be seen this year in another Odia film titled Mantra Muugdha. Horror comedy, further showcasing her versatility and growing prominence in the industry.

With its combination of suspense, emotion, and socially relevant themes, Chakranta is already generating excitement ahead of its big-screen release.
