CM Announces Hosting of 10th Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop India 2025 in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, along with the Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo and the  Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, today announced that the prestigious 10th Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop India 2025 will be held in Bhubaneswar.

The international training programme, conducted by Film Heritage Foundation in association with the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) and in partnership with the Government of Odisha – Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department, will take place at Kalabhoomi Odisha Crafts Museum.

The Chief Minister has accepted the invitation of Film Heritage Foundation Director Shivendra Singh Dungarpur to grace the opening ceremony of the workshop on November 12 as the Chief Guest.

The event will also feature renowned actress and Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient Waheeda Rehman as the Guest of Honour, marking a significant celebration of cinema heritage and cultural collaboration in Odisha.
