Bhubaneswar: The much-anticipated Odia film ‘Chi Re Nani’ has officially been released. The movie opened across 50 theatres and held its grand premiere show at Stutee Talkies in Bhubaneswar. The event saw the presence of the film’s producers, directors, cast, and several other prominent personalities associated with the Odia film industry.
This marks the return of a film directed by Sushant Mani and produced by Siddharth Music after a long time. With its songs already enjoying significant popularity, the movie drew a large crowd to the theatres on opening day.
Produced by seasoned producers Sitaram Agrawal and Namita Agrawal, who have previously delivered many successful films, ‘Chi Re Nani’ presents a simple and heartfelt love story. Audiences will see actor Shailendra and actress Shivani in completely new roles for the first time. Actor Dipanwita Das Mahapatra also plays a powerful role in the film, alongside other supporting cast members including Chaudhary Jayaprakash Das, Dharitri Khandual, Sumanta Mani, Bhakti Ranjan, and Adyasha.
After a long gap, the audience is treated to a musical love story on the big screen. Director Sushant Mani has brilliantly portrayed rural realities and emotional drama with a compelling narrative and bold visual storytelling. The film’s executive production was managed by young producers Siddharth and Tamanna Agrawal. The dialogues are written by Sushant Mani and Hiren Kumar.
The lyrics and music of the film were composed by the late Satya Adhikari, with cinematography by Kuhu Mall and choreography by Sumanta Mani. The title track ‘Chi Re Nani Chi..’ has already received international acclaim, and hopes are high that the film will enjoy similar appreciation. Given Sitaram Agrawal’s history of producing successful films, expectations from this release are understandably high.
