Urmi Motions’ Devotional Music Video “Kala Dian” Launched with Grand Ceremony

Bhubaneswar: Urmi Motions unveiled its latest devotional music video titled “Kala Dian” at a grand launch ceremony held at a star hotel in the state capital on Monday.

The event marked the official public release of the bhajan and witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities from the fields of politics, cinema, and music.

Senior politician Suresh Kumar Routray, veteran actor Ashrumochan Mahanty, renowned singer Susmita Das, music director Prashant Padhi, along with Meera Parida and Duti Chand, were among the distinguished guests who attended the launch.

Urmi Motions has been launched under the vision and planning of Sangram Routray, Parthasarathi Jena, and Deepak Kumar Nayak. With ambitious goals, the production house aims to take Odia art and culture to greater heights by producing high-quality music videos and short films for Ollywood audiences.

The first offering from Urmi Motions, “Kala Dian”, features vocals by Sourav Bharadwaj, with music composed by Mahadev Rout and lyrics penned by Debajyoti Nayak. The music video has been jointly directed by Pappin Divya and Satya Behera.

The video stars Manmay Dey, Payal Routray, Sucharita Swain, and Akash Hota in key roles. Praised for its superior production quality, “Kala Dian” stands out as a significant improvement over conventional devotional music videos in terms of concept, presentation, and visual appeal.
