Bhubaneswar: Aesthetic Films, in association with P.S Motion Pictures, on Saturday unveiled the teaser of their upcoming Odia film Rakta Golapa on the Sidharth Music YouTube channel.
The 1-minute-03-second teaser sets the tone for a gripping black comedy and murder mystery, raising intriguing questions. “Was it a murder… a trap… or a truth far more terrifying?” the makers ask, hinting at a narrative where every clue conceals a secret and every silence signals danger.
According to the filmmakers, Rakta Golapa promises an edge-of-the-seat suspense thriller that will keep audiences guessing till the very end. The film is slated for a theatrical release on February 13, 2026.
Beyond its mystery-driven core, Rakta Golapa seeks to tell a deeper story of quiet love intertwined with an unyielding storm of strength, centering on a woman’s indomitable spirit. Promotional material suggests the film will move beyond conventional romance to explore themes of resilience, empowerment and emotional endurance.
The film boasts a strong ensemble cast featuring Elina Samantaray, Choudhury Jayaprakash Das, Abhishek Giri, Samaresh Routray, Hara Rath, and Udit Guru. It is directed by the duo Peenakee Singh and Sisir Kumar Sahu, with Ashrujeet Mahapatra and Shovan Das serving as producers.
The makers have further revealed that the first look of the film will be unveiled on Sunday, offering audiences their first glimpse into the visual aesthetic and the powerful persona of its central character. With its intriguing premise and emotional depth, Rakta Golapa has already begun generating buzz among Odia cinema enthusiasts. The makers earlier had released the item song Patala Ghanta starring Suryamayee Mohapatra which received well by fans.
