Team Mantra Muugdha to Celebrate Ganesh Puja at OPC Maha Vinayak Mahotsav in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: The team of the upcoming Odia movie Mantra Muugdha will celebrate Ganesh Puja at the OPC Maha Vinayak Mahotsav 2025, organized by the Odisha Puja Committee, Bengaluru, on August 27.
The star-studded lineup includes Bhoomika Dash, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Dipanwit Das Mohapatra, Manmay Dey, Sanoj Kumar, along with director Anupam Patnaik and producer Barsha Patnaik.
As a highlight of the event, the stars will perform live on the chartbuster song “Jalsa” from the movie during the Mega Star Night at Lake View Road, Doddanekundi, Marathahalli, Bengaluru. The song, featuring Suryamayee Mohapatra, Manmay Dey, Sanoj Kumar, and Sarthak Bharadwaj, has been composed by Asish Pradhan and sung by Humane Sagar and Antara Chakraborty.
Mantra Muugdha recently completed its first shooting schedule in Bhubaneswar, during which this song was filmed. The second schedule is currently underway in Ganjam. Directed by National Award-winning director Anupam Patnaik and produced by Barsha Patnaik under the banner Amiya Patnaik Productions, the movie stars Bhoomika Dash, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Sanoj Kumar, Manmay Dey, and Sarthak Bharadwaj, along with Dipanwit Das Mohapatra in pivotal roles.
The supporting cast features Hara Ratha, Chaudhary Jayaprakash Das, Nishant Majithia, Soma Hota, Bhakti Das, popular TV actress Pihu Mohapatra, and digital creator Mr. Raut.
Behind the scenes, the film brings together a stellar technical team with Deepak Kumar as cinematographer, Rashmi Ranjan Das as editor, and Shakti Swaroop Dwivedi on sound design, while Chandrasekhar Sharma handles sync sound. The story is co-written by Anupam Patnaik and Roshan Bishoi, screenplay by Rohit Gehlot and Anupam, and dialogues by Pranab Rath with support from Nishant Majithia.
In a first for Odia cinema, five music directors — Asish Pradhan, Anurag Pattnaik, Sangeet Pattnaik, Anurag Panda, and Raumy Raj Pradhan — have collaborated to create a diverse and multi-layered soundtrack.
