Bhubaneswar: Actress Archita Sahu who is gearing up for release of her new movie Pade Akasha on March 8, 2025 on the occasion of international women’s day, said that shooting on a wheelchair came with a lot of practical challenges.

The movie Pade Akasha is Based on the challenging Life of Dr.Sruti Mohapatra, an disability inclusion expert whose expertise is in inclusive education and inclusive disaster management and planning.

Earlier, The poster and first look of Archita Sahu starrer new Odia movie ‘Pade Akasha’, Inspired by the extraordinary life and work of Dr. Sruti Mohapatra, who revolutionised the world for the disabled-all from her wheelchair, was released recently.

Releasing the poster makers Tarang Cine Productions said “This Women’s Day, witness ARCHITA as SRUTI-a story of resilience, courage, and empowerment.”

Starring Archita Sahu as Sruti Mohapatra, the film also stas Rajesh Jais, Hara Rath, Smita
Mohanty, Mohan Majithia, Madhumita, Bijaylaxmi and others, the film will be released in cinema hall across the state on March 8, 2025 on the occasion of international women’s day.

The film is directed by Susant Mani and produced by Litisya Mangat Panda while Screenplay is written by Biplav Singh & Debidutta Mohanty.

The Music is composed by Prem Anand while Lyrics were written by Bijaya Malla.

Archita is also currently shooting for her new movie Bou Buttu Bhuta also starring Babushaan Mohanty and Aparajita Mohanty. The shooting is stopped for few days as Babusaan’s father veteran actor Uttam Mohanty fell ill.
