Bhubaneswar: Sambhram Pattanayak, son of Chitta Ranjan Pattanayak and Sandhya Rani Pattanayak of CDA Sector 11, Cuttack, Odisha, earned his PhD in Mass Communication from Amity University Rajasthan, India on January 20, 2025. His Thesis was titled Promotional Strategies of Bollywood: An Analytical Study of the UAE Filmgoers.
Dr. Pattanayak began his career as a Cameraman, gaining invaluable experience in the media industry. He has been associated with Akshay Parija Production since 2014. In 2008, he transitioned into academia, joining the Manipal University Dubai. After 10 successful years, he moved to Amity University Dubai in 2019, serving as an academician in the Media Studies department.
He has published 14 Scopus-indexed papers and a book chapter, contributing significantly to Film Studies. His journey inspires students and professionals, demonstrating the importance of continuous learning and perseverance in pursuing excellence.
