Sabyasachi visits his old college for Pushkara promotion

Actor Sabyasachi Mishra visited his old college Silicon Institute of Technology Monday to promote his upcoming new movie Pushkara.

Sharing images of promotion in the college Sabyasachi said ” When Pushkara visits his engineering college I can only say, follow ur passion, be honest to ur efforts. One day will come when U will visit ur collage as a guest & sit in the front row with ur most favorite teachers humbled & blessed. For me Silicon institute of Technology is emotion”

Earlier, music audio of the movie was released at Lingaraj temple Bhajan Mandap Saturday.

Sharing photos in social media Sabyasachi said” Took the Blessings of Mahadev Shri Lingaraj. Highlights of Music Release event at Lingaraj Temple. On the occasion congress leader Suresh Routray, Actor Sabyasachi Mishra, Supriya Nayak, director Subhranshu Das, singer Swayam Padhi and others were present.

Music direction for the movie Pushkara given by Bibhuti Bushan Gadanayak and lyrics were written by Debidutta Mohanty.

Earlier, Tarang Cine Productions’ new Odia movie Pushkara, starring actor Sabyasachi Mishra and Supriya Nayak much awaited trailer released September 1.

After two long years fans will see Sabyasachi Mishra in the big screen. The new upcoming flick which is based on Odia Novel ‘Nadabindu’ written by eminent writer Sankar Tripathy, will be releasing on cinema halls across the state this Ganesh Puja.

Sharing the trailer in the social media Sabyasachi said” ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଉପନ୍ୟାସରୁ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସିନେମା । କେମିତି ଲାଗିଲା ଜଣାନ୍ତୁ, ଏବଂ ଭଲ ଲାଗିଲେ ସେୟାର କରିବେ। ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପୁଷ୍କରା”

The movie marks the directorial debut of DOP-turned-director Subhranshu Das.

The novel “Nadabindu” is a masterpiece in Odia literature and tells the story of a young musician who struggles to establish himself in the world of classical music. The novel explores themes such as art, love, and the human condition, and has been widely acclaimed for its lyrical language and deeply philosophical insights.

The film “Pushkara” is expected to capture the essence of the novel and bring it to life on the silver screen. The movie will star Sabyasachi Mishra in the lead role and will feature a talented ensemble cast that includes Supriya Nayak, Ashrumochan Mohanty and Choudhury Bikash Das among others.

The film also stars Pintu Nanda who passed away recently.

The film is being produced by Ramesh Barik under the banner of Tarang Cine Productions.
