Actor Sabyasachi Mishra, whose new movie Pushkara, released in cinema halls across the state Tuesday on the occasion of Ganesh Puja, thanks fans for showing love and support to the movie.
In his social media account Wednesday Sabyasachi said” Nuakhai Juhaar to everyone and thanks to all to give love to Pushkarara. I am very happy to see that everyone is enjoying Pushkara in cinema hall. Thank you so much for your love. “
He shared images of his interaction with fans in Maharaja Cinema hall in Bhubanewar, Sangam and Brundaban cinema halls in Cuttack.
Sabyasachi Mishra and actress Supriya Nayak had visited Maharaja Cinema Hall on Tuesday and interacted with fans.
On the first day the movie gets good response from fans and several shows went housefull. After two long years fans saw Sabyasachi Mishra in the big screen.
Ahead of the movie release the star cast of the movie including Sabyasachi Mishra, his wife and actress Archita Sahu had visited Utkal University for promotion of the movie.
Bollywood actors such as Kumud Mishra Shishir Sharma, Pavan Malhotra, JD Chakravarthy had praised the trailer of the movie which marks the directorial debut of DOP-turned-director Subhranshu Das. The movie is based on Odia Novel ‘Nadabindu’ written by eminent writer Sankar Tripathy.
The novel “Nadabindu” is a masterpiece in Odia literature and tells the story of a young musician who struggles to establish himself in the world of classical music. The novel explores themes such as art, love, and the human condition, and has been widely acclaimed for its lyrical language and deeply philosophical insights.
The film “Pushkara” is expected to capture the essence of the novel and bring it to life on the silver screen. The movie stars Sabyasachi Mishra in the lead role and will feature a talented ensemble cast that includes Supriya Nayak, Ashrumochan Mohanty and Choudhury Bikash Das among others.
The film also starred Pintu Nanda who passed away recently.
The film is being produced by Ramesh Barik under the banner of Tarang Cine Productions. The music for the film is being composed by renowned music director Bibhuti Bhusan Gadanayak.
