New Film studio inaugurated in City

Bhubaneswar: A new film studio named Swastik Studio opened in Bhubaneswar Tankapani road on the occasion of Saraswati Puja on Wednesday.

On the occasion several filmmakers, producers and actors and actresses of the industry were present at the inauguration of the film studio.

The guests who were present on the occasion are actor Subhasis Sharma actress Anisha, producer Sridhar Martha, N Gangadhar Reddy, Tapan dash, Bini Samal, director Gouri Shankar Panda, Mahesh Hazra, Tapas Sargharia, Aswin Tripathy and others,

The studio was envisioned by Sangram Keshari Paikaray and designed by Art director Subash Sahu.

Built in a space of 90/120 feet, this studio has police station, hospital, jail, doctor’s room, operation room, ICU, bar, restaurant, hospital corridor, corporate office, court room etc. It also has two large sheds which can be used as regular and permanent sets for films, serials and reality shows.

Earlier, Odia filmmakers had to depend on Hyderabad or Chennai for shooting due to lack of facilities. Now all these facilities will be available at this studio.
