Musical Evening on the Occasion of Sur Sagar Musical Group’s Silver Jubilee

Bhubaneswar:The Silver Jubilee celebration of the Sur Sagar Musical Group was held at Rabindra Mandap.

On this occasion, a grand musical night was organized, during which renowned Indian singers Sabir Kumar, Pamela Jain, and stand-up comedian Sunil Pal mesmerized the audience with their musical performances and entertaining acts.

In addition, Odisha’s well-known vocal artists Dipti Rekha, Bishnu Mohan Kabi, Bhagyashree, Pushpanjali, Babiraj, and Banoj Mohanty also performed musical presentations.

As part of the event’s yearly tradition, this year too, financial assistance was provided to five cancer patients and a visually impaired female singer. This noble initiative of the event receives appreciation from audiences, listeners, and various sections of society every year.

The event was graced by the presence of MLA Mr. Jaynarayan Mishra, Mr. Chandra Shekhar Hota, Secretary of Odisha Sangeet Natak Academy, Mrs. Seema Rani Mohanty, Director of MGM Minerals, Mrs. Annapurna Mohanty, Managing Trustee of Anand Charitable Trust, Mr. Yagnyashis Mahapatra, Past District Governor of Rotary Club, and Mr. Lalitendu Mahapatra, former MLA, as guests.
