Music of Upcoming Odia Film Bara Badhu Unveiled; Film to Release During Valentine’s Week

Bhubaneswar: The music of the much-anticipated Odia film Bara Badhu was officially unveiled at a grand event held in Bhubaneswar Friday. The launch ceremony was marked by vibrant celebrations and enthusiastic participation from the film’s entire star cast and music team, creating a festive and memorable atmosphere.

The film’s music has been composed by popular young composer Gaurav Anand, a favorite among the youth, in collaboration with Bharat Hitarth. Lyrics for the songs have been penned by JP Wordsmith, Sthita Pattnaik, Sumit Panda, D Suprabha, Phoenix, and Sunil Parida.

The soundtrack features voices of renowned singers including Papon, Krishna Beura, Ananya Sritam Nanda, Asima Panda, Arpita Choudhury, Sourav Bharadwaj, Gaurav Anand, Ashish Pradhan, Anurag Das, and Shubhashree Jena.

Based on a rooted Odia narrative, the songs of Bara Badhu received an overwhelming response from the audience present at the launch, with particular appeal among younger listeners. The music is expected to strongly connect with today’s generation while retaining cultural essence.

The film has been written and directed by Beeswaranjan and features Subhashish Sharma, Shailendra Samantaray, Sivani Sangita, Suryamayee Mahapatra, Jayashree Sadangi, Hara Rath, and Bhaswati Basu in key roles.

Produced by Chandramani under The Useful Garbage Creations banner, the project is supported by Country Boyz Studios and Sharpline Film Private Limited as associate production houses. Beeswaranjan and Sushil Kumar Mishra have served as co-producers.
Cinematography has been handled by Bijitesh De, while editing is by Deepika Karla.

Acclaimed sound designer Nihar Samal, an Odia talent with experience in major Bollywood films, has worked on sound design. Sambit Jena is in charge of PR and marketing.
The film’s music rights are owned by Amara Music, while distribution is being handled by Prakash Films.

Rooted in themes of love, tradition, and values, Bara Badhu promises a deeply emotional and heart-touching cinematic experience. Timed with Valentine’s celebrations, the film is set for an all-India theatrical release on February 13, aiming to captivate audiences nationwide during Valentine’s Week.
