Multi Faceted Actress Pinky Pradhan Wants to Learn from New Talents
Popular actress, singer, anchor and politician Pinky Pradhan who for the last few years was busy serving people through her work in BJP party, was seen in a new movie recently Dho Re Bhaiaa Dho which makes her fans excited.
Talking to Odia Celebrity, Pinky said that she doesn’t think of this movie as her comeback because she was working in three movies in recent times but due to covid outbreak it was not released.
Pradhan started her career in the Odia entertainment industry with her anchor stint for the dance reality show Boom Shakalaka after that she done her first movie Je Panche Para Mandain 2003 where she shared screen with actor Sidhant Mohapatra. She also made her mark in the singing with multiple popular songs.
Born in a music and filmy family her late father was a playback singer and her uncle and aunty had production house and producced many movies. She had grownup among the stars of time coming to her house. Such as actor Prashant Nanda, singer Prafulla Kar and others.
At the beginning she wants to pursue fashion but because of her father passing she had to take different route. In 2000s during her time in Delhi she started her career with Modelling and done many ads and done few TV shows in hindi TV shows such as School days and others. After that she returned to odisha and started her career with shows Boom Shakalaka.
After doing multiple movies, she realized that she wants to do something different so in 2006 she participated and won reality show in MTV. After that she went to Mumbai and pursue acting course and done few shows there such as CID, Phir Koi Hai and others there and during that time her meaning for acting changes and gives her exposure.
After that she married to an army officer in 2007 so she was traveling to many places across the country. During that time she was doing ads and anchoring shows at that time while focusing on her family.
She said that during that times she was not finding the movies interesting and was not getting excited roles. She said that she was not feeling excited at that time. So she joined reality shows as judge. During that time she got connected with politics while doing campaign for 2014 election.
She said that she was a big Atal Bihari Vajpayee fan and was very much influences by his ideology. So when she decided to join political party in 2014 her choice was automatically BJP. She said that working for a national party she get connected with people a lot and closely.
She fought in 2019 Assembly election from Digapahandi but lost after giving tough battle to Surhya Narayan Patro . But that didn’t affect her because she said that more than winning she wants to serve people in anyway matters and is a party person. Now as state secretary of Odisha BJP state she continues to serve people.
About her work in Dho re Bhaiaa Dho she said that she wants to do some interesting roles and focus more on character than how big the role is.
About her future work she said that she was doing some interesting roles now. She has two movies ready for release soon. She is also pursuing singing and released new song recently.
She said that I believe in learning everyday and work with new age directors and makers and talents by looking at her new projects lot looks like she was on that path.
