Bhubaneswar: An emotional family drama titled AAFAA – Life After Life is gearing up for its theatrical release on April 3, promising a thought-provoking cinematic experience centered on love, time and second chances.

The film narrates the story of an ordinary family — a mother, father, grandfather and daughter — whose lives take an unexpected turn, leading to a powerful message about cherishing every moment.

The narrative emphasises how people often postpone emotions, assuming there is always tomorrow, while reminding viewers that time moves forward relentlessly. Through an emotional storyline, the film portrays how a single decision can transform an ending into a new beginning, making it more than just a conventional family drama.

The movie features a strong ensemble cast including Kuna Tripathy, Pritiraj Satpathy, Naina Das, Hara Rath, Siddharth Tiwari, Meera Jhanja Das, Swastik Choudhury, Ravi Mishra, Dharitri Khandual, Rakesh Kumar Barik, Shriya, Shrabani and child artist Mivaan Siddharth Tiwari.

Marking a notable debut, Anmol Pati — daughter of renowned director Ashok Pati — takes on a lead role, beginning her cinematic journey with a performance that is expected to draw attention.

The film is produced by Pritiraj Satpathy and Naina Das Tiwari, with Siddharth Tiwari serving as co-producer. Direction is handled by Pritiraj Satpathy, while Rajesh Kumar Barik and Krishna are co-directors. Creative direction is led by Naina Das Tiwari and Siddharth Tiwari.

The technical team includes cinematographer Biswajit Kuldi, music composer Prem Anand, and lyricists Bapu Goswami and Divya Kumar Sahu. Songs are rendered by singers Deepti Rekha, Biswajit Kuldi, Ananya Sritam Nanda, Shubhechha Mohanty, Shashank Shekhar and Biswajit Mahapatra.

Ahead of the release, the makers have also launched an interactive social media campaign encouraging audiences to share their “last wish” messages for loved ones, with selected entries getting a chance to meet the film’s team and win movie tickets.

Positioned as an emotional experience rather than just a film, AAFAA – Life After Life aims to leave viewers reflecting on relationships, time and the importance of expressing feelings before it is too late.
