‘Custody,’ the latest film starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and directed by Venkat Prabhu, continues to face challenges at the box office. After receiving mixed responses from both audiences and critics upon its release, the film’s collection has taken a further dip on its second day.
The initial response to ‘Custody’ seemed promising, with an opening day collection of Rs 3.2 crore. However, it appears that the movie failed to resonate with the masses, leading to a decline in its box office performance. Early estimates suggest that the film could only manage to collect Rs 1.50 crore on its second day, bringing its total box office collection to Rs 4.7 crore.
In addition to Naga Chaitanya, the film features a talented ensemble cast including Arvind Swami, Priyamani, Sarath Kumar, Sampath Raj, Premji, Vennela Kishore, and Premi Vishwanath in key roles. The cinematography is handled by S. R. Kathir, while the editing is done by Venkat Raajen. The music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has provided both songs and the score, including contributions from the legendary Ilaiyaraaja.
