Bhoomika Dash’s much-awaited film Chakranta hits screens February 27
Bhubaneswar: As her upcoming Odia film Chakranta gears up for its theatrical release on February 27, actress Bhoomika Dash took time out to celebrate fellow actress and close friend Sivani Sangita for her performance in the recently released film Bara Badhu.
Sharing cheerful pictures from their get-together, Bhoomika wrote, “When Naina met Suman Patel for a Bara Badhu movie date & special luncheon – what a lovely time! @sivani_sangita your performance was so heartfelt, you completely lived your character. Wishing you continued success ahead. Ended the day with movies, yummy lunch, and ice cream – bliss!”

Meanwhile, Bhoomika is eagerly awaiting the release of her much-anticipated film Chakranta, where she plays the lead alongside Subhasish Sharma.
In the film, she portrays a young woman Naina who gets trapped in a complex and troubling situation after stepping out of home for education and career aspirations. The story explores emotional turmoil, strained relationships, and the sacrifices parents make, while delivering a strong social message about choices and consequences.
Directed by Pinu Nayak and produced by Saurabh Padhi, Chakranta promises a gripping blend of suspense, emotion, and social relevance. The trailer, released earlier on the Babu Bhai Productions YouTube channel, has already generated significant buzz among cinegoers.
Apart from Chakranta, Bhoomika will also be seen this year in another Odia project titled Mantra Muugdha, further cementing her growing presence in the industry.
