Bengali actor Bonny joins Odia movie ‘Ajira Rebati’

Bhubaneswar: RR events and Cine Production signed Bengali star Bonny Sengupta for their new movie Ajira Rebati which is based on story written by Badri mishra and produced and directed by Ramesh Barik and Shubhranshu Das respectively. Bonny will star opposite Sheetal Patra who is playing the lead role in the movie.

Sharing the news director Subhranshu said “Thank you, Bonny, for coming on board as the lead actor in “AJIRA REBATI” Ramesh Babu, your dedication and support as a producer are invaluable, greatly enhancing the script’s creativity and contributing to the making of a great film.”

Earlier announcing the title of the movie makers had said “The movie will tell the story of a woman whose insight shape her destiny. Makers said “Our next film is a journey that humbly unfolds, Our new film’s tale, a treasure to behold. Discover a world, with a gentle view, Where strong women quietly make dreams come true.”

The shooting will start soon. Subhranshu Das an acclaimed cinematographer debuted as director with Sabyasachi Mishra starrer Pushkara last year, which did well at boxoffice and completed more than 50 days.

The movie stars Sheetal Patra in lead role. Markers will give more update soon.
