Amitabh Bachchan Launches Poster for 10th Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop India 2025; Odisha to Host Prestigious Event in November

Bhubaneswar: FHF Ambassador Amitabh Bachchan today launched the poster of the 10th edition of the Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop India 2025, organized by the Film Heritage Foundation (FHF). The international training programme will be held at the Kalabhoomi Odisha Crafts Museum in Bhubaneswar from November 12 to 19, 2025.

The announcement of Odisha as the host state was made by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo and Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan. The workshop, conducted by the Film Heritage Foundation in association with the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) and in partnership with the Government of Odisha – Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department, will bring together global experts and participants to strengthen India’s film preservation movement.

Chief Minister Majhi has accepted the invitation of Film Heritage Foundation Director Shivendra Singh Dungarpur to grace the opening ceremony on November 12 as the Chief Guest.

The event will also feature legendary actress and Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient Waheeda Rehman as the Guest of Honour, marking a significant celebration of cinema heritage and cultural collaboration in Odisha.
