Actor and Producer Rana Daggubati Gives Thumbs Up to ‘Bindusagar’ Trailer, Sends Best Wishes to Team
Bhubaneswar: Popular Telugu star and actor Rana Daggubati has praised the trailer of the upcoming Odia film Bindusagar, calling it a heartwarming cinematic experience and lauding its storytelling vision.
Taking to his social media story, Rana Daggubati said he is “looking forward to this heartwarming Odia film Bindusagar,” adding that the trailer “looks really good.” He extended his best wishes to the team and expressed hope that the film opens “new doors for storytelling in Odia cinema.”
He also wished producer Shiladitya Bora, Platoon One Films, director Abhishek Swain, and the entire cast and crew for the film’s release.
Taking to social media, Prakruti Mishra thanked Rana Daggubati for his support, writing:

The trailer of Bindusagar, released recently, has been gaining attention for its emotional narrative about a young woman who returns to Bhubaneswar from abroad to fulfil her mother’s last wish. Her journey becomes a deeper exploration of love, loss, identity, and homecoming.
Featuring an ensemble cast led by National Award–winning actor Prakruti Mishra, the film also stars Dipanwit Dashmohapatra, Sukant Rath, Satya Ranjan, Sonalli Sharmistha, and Robin Das.
Directed by Abhishek Swain and written by Abhishek Das, Bindusagar is produced by Platoon One Films and Boundless Blackbuck Films in association with MDC Filmworks.
With growing industry appreciation and audience buzz, Bindusagar is set for a theatrical release on April 17, 2026, across cinemas worldwide.
