Manoj Mishra was recently banned by producers association for involvement in stopping release of Odia movie RAM. Although, Manoj denied any involvement in the issue.

Later, Odisha Film Producers and Distributors Guild and Utkal Cine Chamber of commerce informed that they are not supporting ban on the actor.

Manoj Mishra was last seen in Mindgame starring him and Atul Kulkarni in lead role. the movie was based on Patnagarh bomb blast incident and directed by Rajesh Touchriver. Manoj will be seen next in Odia movie Trikanya and Hindi movie Prachand.
