Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap Praises ‘Jajabara 2.0’ trailer
Bhubaneswar: The trailer of New Odia movie Jajabara 2.0 Directed by Abhishek Swain and produced by Kaushik Das and Ram Patnaik was appreciated by Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap.
In his Instagram story Kashyap said” An Odia film trailer I came across, so aesthetically shot and so intriguing.. is it releasing in mumbai”

Anurag Kashyap is an Indian filmmaker known for his works in Hindi cinema. Kashyap is regarded as an auteur and is credited for pioneering India’s filmmaking scene. His movies such as Gangs of Wasseypur, Black Friday, No Smoking, Dev D and others had created cult status.
The film will be released in cinema halls across the state on March 22 and will later streamed at AAO NXT OTT platform.
This film is a one night travel story made with a visual style portraying toxicity & internal conflicts of minds which seeks for redemption. It shows 3 nomads Jagat who seeks redemption from his past, Satya who seeks redemption from his own self & Manini who seeks redemption from the wicked city & how all of them are interlinked.
This film is set in a fictional Cuttack city of late 90’s where the contract killer Jagat is shown as a die-hard Sriram panda fan an Odia Superstar who later gave up on his stardom to became spiritual monk & left his past behind.
The movie directed by Abhishek Swain and produced by Kaushik Das and Ram Patnaik and starring Devesh Ranjan, Prasanjeet Mohapatra, Sonali Sharmistha, BM Baisali, Choudhury Bikash Das, Sweta Acharya, Manas Ranjan in important roles.
The official trailer was released at special event in city hotel where stars and makers of the movie were present.

The movie is Aaonxt original and presented by Kaustuv Dreamworks Studios. The movie had travelled to different film festival and screened recently at Jagran Film Festival.
