Pratha, My Sweet Housewife, to clash for a box-office win

Bhubaneswar: This Friday (November 3) the box office clash will happen between Swaraj Barik’s new movie ‘Pratha’ and Naina Dash and Pritiraj Satapathy starrer My Sweet Housewife. Both movies are releasing on November 3 and are very different from each other.
The Sanlisa Signature Films production Pratha stars actor Swaraj Barik, Sheetal Patra and Simran Kaur in lead role.
The trailer of the movie which was released earlier showcase the story set in the Lalaguda area in Koraput and revolved around the character of Swaraj, who is playing a character of Potharaju, a nomadic tribe known for wearing Haldi in the body and vermilion on his forehead and hitting themselves with the whip and entertaining people.
The trailer shows how his life turn upside down after some greedy people try to use the local resources of the village for their own selfish needs and that affected Swaraj and his family and how he copes with it ”
The movie will be released in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana later in addition to its release in Odisha.

The film showcases the story of an orthodox village in Odisha where following traditional culture is often sacrosanct. The reel life depicts how these age-old practices define the movie’s main characters. Pratha features actor Swaraj Barik, Sheetal Patra and Simran Kaur in lead roles.

Similarly, new Odia movie ‘My Sweet Housewife’ will also release on November 3
Naina Dash and Pritiraj Satapathy starrer movie will release in cinema halls across the state on November 3.

The Music of new Odia movie “My Sweet Housewife’ released at a special event at Empires hotel recently. The movie starring Naina Das and Pritiraj Satapathy tells the story of women empowerment.

The movie is directed by Peenakee Singh and Sisir Kumar Sahu and stars Naina Dash and Pritiraj Satapathy will release in cinema halls across the state on November 3. The music of the movie is given by Rahul Roul while songs were sung by Navya Jaiti.

The movie is produced by Naina Dash and Pritiraj Satapathy and directed by Sisir and Peenakee who earlier made Phalguni Chaitra.
Naina Dash, a popular face in Odia films has achieved phenomenal success in a lot of Odia TV serials also. She has anchored the longest running serial in Odisha, “Kalyani-An Innovative Health Programme”.
Pritiraj Satpathy is known for Prem weds Priya (2011), Durgatinasini 2 and Shapath (2012)
