Akhil Akkineni’s film Agent finds no takers

Director Surender Reddy’s Agent, starring Akhil Akkineni, is a spy action thriller which graced the screens last week.

Unfortunately, Agent has been receiving negative response on the box office. It has been three days, the film hasn’t touched Rs 10 crore in India. At this rate, Agent is heading towards a disaster. The film was made on a budget of Rs 70-80 crore.

Akhil Akkineni’s Agent released in theatres on April 28 amid massive expectations. However, the film failed to wow the audience and critics.

Agent started off on a good note by earning Rs 5.95 crore in India. However, due to negative reviews, the film saw a sharp decline on Saturday (April 29) and earned Rs 1.6 crore in India.

This takes the three-day collection to Rs 8.55 crore in India. Agent registered an occupancy of 16.42 per cent in Telugu on April 30.
