Odia Film ‘Asa Sai’ Begins Journey on Vijaya Dashami

Bhubaneswar: The upcoming Odia film Asa Sai began its journey on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami with a special ritual ceremony dedicated to Sai Baba, including Maha Abhishek, aarti and prayers.
The film, produced by Sai Shraddha Tele Production, was formally launched with a script puja, while its title was named by spiritual leader Dr Chandrabhanu Satpathy.

The ceremony was attended by Dr Satpathy, BJP state president Manmohan Samal, Swosti Group chairman J K Mohanty and Sai Temple president Bibhu Mahapatra, among others.
On the occasion, Sai Shraddha Production presented Dr Satpathy with an idol of Sai Baba bearing the title Asa Sai.

Later, a press conference was organised at the Bhubaneswar Press Club under the chairmanship of Saubhagya Laxmi Jena, head of Sai Shraddha Tele Production. More than 100 people, including actors, film producers, directors and technical professionals, attended the event.
The launch ceremony was held in an atmosphere of devotion and spirituality, reflecting the film’s religious theme.

Producer Saubhagya Laxmi Jena expressed hope that audiences would embrace Aas Sai with the same affection they had shown towards the Odia film Nabakalebara, inspired by Lord Jagannath. She said she hoped the new film would find a special place in the hearts of viewers.

The launch on Vijaya Dashami marks the beginning of the film’s journey, with the production house looking forward to connecting with audiences through faith and spirituality.
