Actress Bhoomika Dash Becomes Dr Bhoomika Dash, Balances Cinema and Dentistry

Bhubaneswar: Odia actress Bhoomika Dash has added another major achievement to her name, officially becoming Dr Bhoomika Dash after completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Faculty of Dental Sciences, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar.

Bhoomika received her dental degree at the graduation ceremony held at the SOA Auditorium, Campus-2, marking the culmination of five years of academic study while continuing to pursue her career in films.

“Officially a Dental Graduate. Officially Dr. Bhoomika Dash,” she shared after the graduation.

Reflecting on her journey, Bhoomika said the past five years had been filled with sleepless nights, endless examinations and moments of self-doubt, along with countless questions about whether she could balance her two dreams.

“Today, I have my answer,” she said.
The actress also credited her parents for standing by her throughout the journey. “To my parents, who believed in me when balancing two dreams seemed impossible — this degree is as much yours as it is mine,” she said.

While completing her dental education, Bhoomika has remained active in the Odia film industry and continues to work on movies. She will next be seen in Madhumallati, adding another film project to her acting journey.

Her graduation marks a significant milestone as she steps into the professional world of dentistry while continuing her association with cinema.
