Global Crown 2026 to Select 50 Contestants Through Worldwide Auditions

Bhubaneswar: A press conference for The Global Crown 2026, organised by Anonymous Films and K.F.T.I., was held recently, with the organisers announcing details of the upcoming international beauty and talent competition.

The event was attended by Tapan Dash, head of Anish Entertainment, the Odisha organisational partner; Pranaya Jethi, Managing Director of the media planning team; Satchikanta Jena, producer of Moon TV Movies, which is supporting the competition; and Narayan Nayak, Director of Umamani Visuals Creation.

Anonymous Films founder Payal Mukherjee and K.F.T.I. director Rubiya Banerjee also addressed the media and outlined the format and schedule of The Global Crown 2026.
According to the organisers, 50 contestants will be selected through auditions conducted at the global level for the coveted Global Crown. The final selection will comprise 25 contestants in the Miss category and 25 in the Mistress category.

The selected 50 contestants will participate in a six-day workshop in Kolkata from October 1 to 6. Following the workshop, 30 contestants will be shortlisted for the semi-final round.
The grand finale of The Global Crown 2026 is scheduled to be held on October 8 at Tollygunge Club in Kolkata.

The Odisha zone auditions will be held on September 26 at Sandys Tower Hotel, where aspiring contestants from the state will get an opportunity to compete for a place in the national and international stages.

Nayanika Chatterjee will be the celebrity jury for the event. The main judging panel will comprise noted Bollywood celebrities and eminent personalities from the fields of fashion designing, filmmaking, production and industry.

The organisers said the event aims to provide a platform for talented individuals from Odisha and help them gain exposure and opportunities at a wider level.
