‘Ajogya’ Goes on Floors, Director Sthita Pattnaik Begins New Cinematic Journey

Bhubaneswar: A new chapter in Odia cinema has begun as debutant filmmaker Sthita Pattnaik officially takes her first directorial venture, Ajogya, on the floors.

Sharing the update on social media, Sthita wrote, “Every big journey begins with a single step. Today, we take ours. AJOGYA officially goes on the floor! See you on the other side of the dream.”

The announcement marks a significant milestone for the filmmaker, who has been preparing for the project through workshops with the cast ahead of the shoot. With the team now beginning principal photography, Ajogya moves from months of planning and preparation into its production phase.
Ajogya marks Sthita Pattnaik’s directorial debut and is also the first venture of Glorious Films and Distributions. The film is presented by Glorious Films and Distributions in association with Reels N Reels, with Brundaban Mishra associated with the project.
The film stars Abhishek R. Panda, B.M. Baisali, Divyaa Mohanty and Krishnakar in key roles.
The makers have positioned Ajogya as an emotional family story exploring smiles, sacrifices and relationships. The earlier announcement described it as a story that aims to remain close to the audience’s heart.
With the cameras now set to roll, Ajogya marks the beginning of Sthita Pattnaik’s journey from preparation to performance—and from a dream on paper to a film taking shape on screen.
