Amiya Patnaik Productions Launches ‘Etiki Thilaa’ with Script Puja on Bahuda Yatra

Bhubaneswar: Amiya Patnaik Productions has officially launched its upcoming Odia feature film Etiki Thilaa with a traditional script puja held on the auspicious occasion of Bahuda Yatra.

The ceremony took place at the revered Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple in Nayapalli, continuing the production house’s long-standing tradition of seeking divine blessings before beginning a new project.
The script puja was attended by the entire Amiya Patnaik Productions team, who offered prayers for the successful completion of the film.

Directed by Indradhanu fame Arjun Samanta Ray, Etiki Thilaa is described as an emotionally layered love story. The film stars Barsha Patnaik, Dipanwit Dasmohapatra and Abhishek Panda in lead roles, supported by an ensemble cast. It is being produced by Anupam Patnaik and Barsha Patnaik under the Amiya Patnaik Productions banner.

The film’s music will be composed by Sandeep Panda, while cinematography will be handled by Bishnu Sahoo, with the makers promising a visually rich and emotionally engaging cinematic experience.

The announcement comes as Amiya Patnaik Productions continues its successful run in Odia cinema following the blockbuster Mantra Muugdha. The banner is also gearing up for the release of its much-awaited thriller Dahaan – The Evil Within, scheduled to hit theatres on September 11, 2026, during Ganesh Puja.

The makers have confirmed that principal photography for Etiki Thilaa will begin soon. Further announcements regarding the film’s extended cast, music and release schedule are expected in the coming months.
