Ollywood Stars Light Up Patha Utsav as Cuttack Streets Turn Into Celebration Zone

Cuttack: The streets of Cuttack came alive with colour, music and community spirit on Tuesday as the Cuttack Development Authority organised a vibrant edition of Patha Utsav near Barabati Stadium.

Held from 6 AM to 9 AM, the popular open-street festival transformed the stretch in front of the stadium into a lively public space dedicated to culture, wellness and recreation. Citizens of all age groups participated enthusiastically, making the event a grand success.

The biggest attraction of the morning was the energetic performances by Ollywood stars Suryamayee Mohapatra, Nikita Mishra, Subhasish Sharma and Subham, who thrilled the audience with power-packed stage appearances.

Popular singer Antara Chakraborty added a musical charm to the celebrations with her melodious performance, drawing loud applause from the crowd.

Several well-known personalities from the Odia film industry, including Sritam Das, Arindam Roy and Bidusmita Dash Mantry, also attended the programme and added glamour to the occasion.
The event was graced by dignitaries including Bhartruhari Mahtab, Subhash Chandra Singh, Pitambar Acharya, Sofia Firdous and Souvic Biswal.
The programme began with tributes to Madhusudan Das on his birth anniversary. Speakers remembered his historic role in the formation of Odisha and his enduring contribution to Odia identity and pride.
Apart from celebrity performances, the festival featured yoga sessions, fitness demonstrations, sports activities, traditional games, face painting, creative workshops and cultural performances by local artists. Art and craft displays by local artisans also attracted visitors and provided a platform for homegrown talent.
Hundreds of residents gathered at the venue, turning the iconic stretch near Barabati Stadium into a vibrant celebration zone. The overwhelming response highlighted the growing popularity of Patha Utsav as a people-friendly initiative that blends recreation, health and heritage.
With yet another successful edition, Patha Utsav reaffirmed CDA’s commitment to creating inclusive urban spaces where communities can connect, celebrate and stay active.
