‘Bindusagar’ Set for Grand Release Across Odisha and Major Indian Cities; Special Premiere Today

Bhubaneswar: The much-anticipated Odia film Bindusagar is all set for a grand theatrical release in cinema halls across Odisha, while also reaching audiences in major Indian cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad.

Ahead of the official release, a special premiere of the film will be organised at Maharaja Cinema Hall on Friday, where members of the film’s star cast are expected to be present. The premiere is likely to draw strong attention from cinema lovers and the local film fraternity.

Directed by Abhishek Swain, Bindusagar has emerged as one of the most talked-about Odia releases of the year, generating buzz through its trailer, posters, title track, and promotional campaign.

The film stars National Award–winning actor Prakruti Mishra in the lead, alongside Dipanwit Dashmohapatra, Sukant Rath, Satya Ranjan, Sonali Sharmistha, and Robin Das.
The recently released trailer showcases the emotional story of a young woman who returns to Bhubaneswar from abroad to fulfil her mother’s final wish.

Her journey gradually unfolds into a moving exploration of identity, belonging, family ties, and reconnecting with her roots.

Written by Abhishek Das, the film is produced by Shiladitya Bora along with Platoon One Films and Boundless Blackbuck Films in association with MDC Filmworks.

The film has also received support from actor Rana Daggubati, who praised the trailer and wished the team success, adding to the excitement surrounding the release.
With screenings planned across Odisha and multiple metro cities, Bindusagar is poised to connect with Odia audiences both at home and across India as it arrives in theatres this week.
